Tim Murdock has been advising clients for over 20 years. His passion is educating Canadians to protect their families, and assist in planning their retirement goals. He is a second generation Financial Advisor, who along with his father and brother, built and developed Murdock Financial & Associates in 2005. Tim was the Branch Manager for the firm. Once his father retired, Tim decided to join forces with Lavoro Financial Group as an Associate Advisor & Investment Representative in 2016. Tim can support clients in every stage of their life. He is a Branch Manager and EPC designation.
Tim primarily works with families who realize the benefit of protecting their current family/mortgage responsibilities as well as investing for today and their retiring years. Once people have had an opportunity to meet with Tim, they appreciate his outgoing and personalized hands-on approach as he is frequently referred to clients’ friends and family.
Giving back is important to Tim and he is frequently seen at the Canadian Blood Services where he has donated for over 30 plus years. Tim has sponsored and volunteered at the annual MS Bike-a-thon for over 14 years. Tim is also a volunteer for Santa’s Anonymous and the Christmas Bureau where he has delivered toys and food to families in need.
Tim has been happily married for over 20 years and has two amazing sons. He appreciates the importance of spending time with his family. They enjoy camping, fishing, spending time in the outdoors, watching movies together, and playing board games. Tim’s other passions are collecting antique tin toys cars and driving his restored 1965 Chevy Short-box truck.
